Grilled Sirloin the Butcher’s Cut
Charcoal & mushrooms a steak’s best friend. Even better when the mushrooms are simmered in white wine.
But wait—Limes & Sriracha are also steak’s best friend! Who knew, grin!
Sunday was a beautiful day in Upstate, New York, that perfect sunny-partly cloudy low humidity day. And to me that means a great day to pull out the charcoal grill. I have 2 of them, one at camp, and one at home. Well, if you are counting, I have 4 grills—two are gas, grin.
We celebrated a friend’s 40th birthday on Saturday so our usual head to camp on Friday happened to be Sunday morning this week. For this reason, I delayed shopping. Knowing that I had Omaha Sirloin Steaks in the freezer and a 16oz container of mushrooms, leftover creamy dill potato salad, (potato salad recipe in this post), our menu was set. What I didn’t realize is, I discovered my new favorite steak marinade.
