Welcome to September, it’s been a month since we connected on the pond. As I reflect on the past month—life has unfolded into an emotional rollercoaster. Our 91-year Aunt has early signs of dementia. She is a remarkable lady, beautiful inside and out.

She made the decision that she should not drive anymore for the safety of others. This truly is a great choice as two weeks ago, she shared that she could not remember how to pump gas. But her biggest decision was to give up her home sweet home. The home that holds a lifetime of memories, cherished photo…
