60 days on Substack & loving it!
As I reflect on the past 60 days - this new journey of writing about food has been fun. My family and friends are curious to my “Why”. But, very supportive. My husband just shakes his head, and says, you need to create. Yet, he’s my biggest fan.
For me it’s simple, I prayed. Then one day, I received an email from a friend and at the bottom of the email appeared the Substack logo - start writing. So, I thought, hum, is this a sign. What does this mean? Before Substack, I was a 12 hour a day girl designing training and developing plans for others. Loved it for years. After 30 years in the corporate environment, my soul was craving a change. You know, as if the Lord was leading me to quiet waters to restore my soul (Psalm 23), one of my fav’s.
