Spring is still cool but sunny in the Northeast.
I have to admit spring is not my favorite time of year. Although, I have begun to appreciate the renewed feeling of watching the spring flowers emerge after a long slumber. Mother Nature takes her sweet time, her moments of blooms are short but special. Like our tulips who began their awakening on March 7th only to finally smile at the sun on April 22nd. Just ten days earlier, the weather was still cool hovering in the 30’s with an occasional snowflake not wanting to say goodbye.
With cooler temperatures, I was craving something comforting, and there is nothing more satisfying than a good bowl of soup.
