If you have ever had a banana pepper - that’s what they are like. Heat can vary - but they are hotter than a jalapeño. Gives a nice spice if you like that.

Hmmm. Now I’m determined to try one. My level of heat tolerance (for peppers, not climate!) has been rising with the years.

Looks like an incredible and delicious salsa Wendy. I have not tried Hungarian Hot Wax peppers before but they sounds interesting. On a scale of 1 -5 with 1 being a bell pepper and 5 being an inferno, what would you rate the spiciness of those hot wax peppers?

I would rate them a 4. Mine are very hot this year - but our temps have been in the 90s. My friends said the salsa had a kick but was tasty too. It adds just a nice heat.
