I’m enjoying your gardening successes vicariously, Wendy! I just don’t have a green thumb—or patience. Perhaps I’ll work on rooting some basil cuttings in my kitchen. That’s about my limit. Your photography is great, especially the glimpse of Peter Cottontail Jr. in quest of his next meal!🐇

Thank you Ruth, I appreciate you reading and enjoying the storyline! Basil is a fun project. You and your husband sure looked like you had a fun time on your recent travels out west and over seas. My sister and niece are in Italy this week. I am a bit envious, grin. Such a beautiful place. I look forward to reading your experiences.

Thanks, Wendy, we are having fun, though I’m ready to sleep in a familiar bed once again. I’ll keep you posted on whether my basil experiment works out! Homemade pesto coming up!

Oh my. Just go to the farmers market! What?! We would miss all that joy of working in the garden and having an excuse to be outside and watching things change daily and the wonder of it all.

Although we do have bunnies running around we had an infestation of slugs who enjoyed all of our Romaine lettuce😜.
