You can actually buy a garlic 🧄 at the supermarket and separate the cloves and plant. I did that one year. But-I would recommend going to a farm stand or market and buying cloves. They can help you with time for planting and harvesting in your area. We need to plant ours in the fall and they grow in the spring. You should try. They are fabulous!

I’m going to be anxiously awaiting my garlic harvest. Ours won’t be ready until about September or October and I’m nearly finished last years!
